Disney Wish Cruise Days 4 and 5: Aladdin, 1923 and Debarkation
Intro
Hey Disney Wish adventurers! 🌟 Ready for a magical recap of our last two days on this enchanting cruise? 🛳️
Day 4 was a perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. We kicked off the day with some heart-pumping cardio at the Senses Fitness gym on Deck 5 🚴♂️, followed by a cozy breakfast at Marceline Market on Deck 11 🥞. We watched Encanto on the Funnel Vision (can’t get enough of that movie!) 🎥. Later, we met Rapunzel and Moana in the Grand Hall, and even learned to draw BB-8 in The Bayou – my droid turned out pretty cute! 🤖
Day 5 was all about farewells. We enjoyed breakfast at the 1923 Restaurant 🍳and admired the sunrise over Port Canaveral ☀️😢. What an unforgettable journey! ✨
Day at Sea
This will be my last entry regarding the Disney Wish cruise, but it includes everything we did on Day 4 which was the Day at Sea, and Day 5 which was the Debarkation (or Disembarkation?) Day. If you have not yet, go check the other posts to take a look on all the activities we had on this fantastic adventure:

Senses Fitness and Breakfast
We started our Day at Sea sleeping in but also checking on the Indoor Cycling Class we had earlyish in the morning. The 45 minutes of biking had me weak, and had to drink a lot of water. Fortunately, this gym offers cold towels and has a water fountain. The class was excellent, with good music to keep you motivated. It costs around $20 but it is worthy when you are eating as much as us during these cruises.

After the gym, it was time to get breakfast in Marceline Market, but on the way there I noticed that Encanto was showing on the Funnel Vision on Deck 11. I had to be back here when “We don’t talk about Bruno” was on.

Of course I got some Mickey Waffles and salmon to start my day, and after that long cardio I just had. Today I was going to relax.

Just in time, we made it back to check on We don’t talk about Bruno from Encanto, and I was actually surprised people stopped what they were doing and started singing to this song. Gave me goosebumps, I actually love this movie and its music, maybe also because I am from Colombia?

Meet and Greets and Drawing Classes
After taking a very well deserved break, we started to walk around the ship, just to find some meet and greets with characters like Moana, Rapunzel…

and even Tiana, which by the way, it’s getting her own attraction in Magic Kingdom.

There were a bunch of activities planned by Disney for this Day at Sea, but not too many were for adults. We had some time after lunch, so we decided to go to a Learn to Draw BB-8 session on The Bayou at Deck 3.

We spent some time here, and learned how to draw BB-8 from the Star Wars franchise. Does it not look cute???

Also, of course from The Bayou I had to get some beignets. They were very tiny but I like them a lot.

Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular
But if earlier the schedule was more family oriented, as the afternoon progressed, there were more activities targeted to an adult audience, or at least where we could feel we belonged. Before heading to the next one, I took a look of the skyline of South Florida. Was that Miami? I was surprised a Day at Sea just means we’re were hanging out in the water until it is time to come back to Port Canaveral.

The first thing we did was to see the show Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular. Surprisingly early in the afternoon, the last Broadway show of this cruise was very authentic. The Genie always steals all the attention, and was very funny. Disney knows how to make fun of themselves with shows like this.

I suppose the shows were going to be earlier on the last day, to allow people go back early, maybe? Regardless of that, after this show, we went to a Marvel Trivia at Keg & Compass Pub on Deck 5. I did really bad lol.

1923 Restaurant
It was finally time to go to my last rotational restaurant of this cruise. Let’s see if it would be better than the other two, giving that there was no show attached to the dining experience. 1923 on the Roy Disney side was our next stop.
The 1923 restaurant on the Disney Wish celebrates the golden age of Hollywood and Disney’s founding year. It features elegant Art Deco decor and Disney animation art. The menu offers California cuisine with fresh, diverse flavors. Dining here provides a nostalgic journey through Disney’s history, blending sophisticated dishes with the magic of classic storytelling.

For appetizer I got the Alameda Porcini Spiced Ahi Tuna, which is made with Pickled Lotus Root, Oyster Mushroom, Black Sesame Brittle, Wasabi & Yuzu Mayonnaise. The wasabi was perfect, and of course I will always choose the seafood options on these menus.

As an appetizer to share, we got the Kingswell Duck Confit Pastilla, which is made with Dates, Apricot, Ginger, Red Pepper, Saffron, and Black Raspberry Jam.

My entree included the 1923 Peppered Filet Mignon, which comes with Buttered Long Green Beans, Smoked Bacon, Crushed Fingerling Potato Hash, and Pink Pepper Café Au Lait. Medium rare of course. The filet mignon was more “mignon” than usual, but I still enjoyed it. I could have ordered more of these if I wanted since it is unlimited in theory, but I wanted to try more dishes too.

For example, and in the Lighter Notes menu, we got the Los Feliz Lobster Salad, which comes with Baby Bibb, Endive Lettuce, Avocado, Jicama, Celery, Purple Potato, Tostones, Black Beans, Grape Tomatoes, Cilantro and Lime. Definitely loved free lobster in every cruise, reminded me of the Alaska Cruise where I got some free lobster as well.

And for dessert, to share, we got the Churros Calientes, which are made with Sugar Spice Churros and Dulce de Leche. I was actually in shock that they were so good. Like Disneyland churro level. Wow. Amazing. Next time I would have churros would be in Mexico, so be ready for that blog post, coming soon.

To end our dinner I got once again, the Ice Cream Sunday, and with a little 1923 chocolate paste on top.

In conclusion, out of the 3 rotational dining experiences in the Disney Wish cruise, and taking into advantage the food, and the overall mood of the restaurants, I would say this is my ranking:
- 1923: Delicious food, nice views and quiet dinner that allows us to enjoy everything better.
- Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure: Nice food, especially the seafood. Otherwise a bit chaotic and a bad seating could ruin the show for you.
- Worlds of Marvel: Food is ok but the screens around and the tiny space just makes it not favorable. Also, the Spider-Man appearance at the end is too rushed.
Sunset over the Wish
After the dinner we were all full, and just walked around the Wish, exploring the last parts of this cruise that we did not have a chance to enjoy. Meanwhile, Chip and Dale had a meet and greet at the Grand Hall.

It was sunset time, and I adventured to the back of the ship where we had not been yet! And explored by the Deck 15, looking towards the Wish Tower Suite and the Toy Story Splash Zone (after it was closed).

Currents Bar on the Deck 15 was one of the places we could not see. I guess while on the cruise, we spent a lot of time on the stateroom and around the more communal areas, like Deck 11 or the Grand Hall. We also went a lot to the Adults Only area, but never got into any pools.

And talking about pools, we did not get a chance to even see the Chip ‘n Dale’s Pool on Deck 15 at all earlier in this trip.

Definitely a big cruise, full of activities for everyone, but I feel that unless you are staying during port days, it is difficult to do everything in just one sailing.
The sun was setting on our last night…

Last Night on the Disney Wish
Later that night and after relaxing in our stateroom, we got to go to the Mickey and Minnie Goodbye on the Grand Hall where some characters were also meeting and greeting for the last time on this cruise.

And to finish our last night, we went to get drinks at our second favorite lounge (after The Rose).

While we saw how our space ship moved through hyperspace from location to location, we got ourselves some drinks, like the Moons of Endor and the Mustafar. Very dangerous drinks since they are a bit sweet and the alcohol can be imperceptible but it is there lol.

After a long night out, we came back to the stateroom to find it done once again with a turtle shape hehe. Time to pack and leave everything ready for the next day. Since we only had carry ons, we decided to just leave with our suitcases the next day. If you have more luggage, you have the option to tag the suitcases and leave them outside on the hallway the last night of the cruise. They will then be transferred directly to be picked up at Customs.

Debarkation Day
We woke up very early in the morning, and went up to get coffee on Deck 13, at Cove Cafe. The sunrise, and the view of Port Canaveral were amazing.

We got some cold brews and used all of our free drinks that we accumulated with the fanatic card.

Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas was greeting us with a beautiful view of the sunrise. We were back in Florida.

For breakfast on the last morning, they seat you at the restaurant you had for the last night of the rotational dining. In our case it was the 1923 restaurant, and I got myself an omelete.

And of course, some waffles. The food was very straightforward, they really need to get you out of the cruise by 10 am at the latest.

We packed everything and left the stateroom. There were debarkation instructions on the TV, and on the app. We went to Deck 3, and waited until it was our time to leave the ship.

A lot of people had left already, probably having flights earlier that day or going to the theme parks to spend the day. We did not have much planned for today, and were also waiting on a family member to pick us up.

And there it was, we had debarked from the Disney Wish cruise. I really loved the entire experience. I would recommend everyone to do the 4-day instead of the 3-day weekend cruise. With 4 days I still missed a lot, I cannot imagine only 3 days. We did not even had a chance to see a movie in the theatre this time. There is just so much to do, and the ports are always exceptional.
For now, I was back in the United States. The Customs process was superfast, and we got picked up real quick in front of the port. For today, we had Disney Springs, which you can check here:

But there’s still one more post from this trip. The Park Hopping on our Disney Day, next up!
