Highlights from a 7-Day Atlantis Cruise Adventure
Intro
I had already been 7 days on the Atlantis 7-day cruise and there was still a lot to do on the very last day, a day at sea. The boat was quickly returning to Miami from Labadee in Haiti, leaving also behind St. Marteen, which we had been to at the beginning of the cruise. Now, with less than 24 hours on board, it was time to check what the cruise had to offer one last time.
Day 07: A Day at Sea Exploring the Ship
Allure of the Seas had been a great ship for this adventure. Huge and sometimes difficult to navigate, still had some places that I had not even explored, seen or step foot in. One of these places was El Loco Fresh Cantina in Deck 15. This was my breakfast place, and the ability to build your own plate was amazing. Felt like a wash out Chipotle but in a good way.

From this deck, the view of the Boardwalk in Deck 06 was amazing. It seemed not many people were out and about after a long night during the White Legends party. As a matter of fact, many after parties were still happening in the staterooms.

Continued exploring the ship, and now I was at the Royal Promenade, where I finally was able to catch a glimpse of the Rising Tide Bar. It was so cool seeing it getting lifted to the Central Park level.

And talking about Central Park, I went there not too long after, to take a look at Park Cafe.

The venue is included in the price, and was serving small plates and salads. I got my chicken salad here. As it being the last day, I was not too worry anymore about gaining weight on this cruise (as it always happens) lol.

Really love the concept of the Central Park. It is just a really nice area. I just wish they had taller trees in this area.

Day 07: Revival! Classic Disco T-Dance
The last official T Party or Day Party was Revival! Classic Disco T-Dance. This is how Atlantis describes it:
Disco lives on as we take you back to the glory days of the 70s with an afternoon of pure musical magic on the dance floor. Artificial fabrics, excess facial hair, oversized shoes, and other obnoxious accessories welcome!

It was cool seeing everyone wearing their 70’s outfit and party for one last time at the AquaTheatre.

Monet X Change and Jackie Cox, from Rupaul’s Drag Race were present during this T-Dance Party.

And the last sunset of this cruise was right in front of us, as we headed West towards Florida.

Day 07: Main Dining Room
So, I originally was not going to go to the Main Dining Room, since it is always big portions and limited menu, but last night I had been here for the Lobster Night (that I could not miss), and tonight, since it was the last night, I decided to come just to get a nice plate of seafood, that incredibly was very absent from the Windjammer. Missed the seafood a lot in the buffet style dining option the entire cruise. I do not know what happened, but even in the smaller Serenade of the Seas, during the Ultimate World Cruise, there were all kinds of fish and seafood options.

Although tonight, the Main Dining Room had a great salmon. Loved it so much.

And the ice cream, that I had been avoided during the cruise, now I was able to eat a lot lol, with the respective portion of chocolate brownie.

Day 07: Last Night Entertainment
I had skipped AirOtica on the main theatre during the entire cruise, and tonight obviously, was my last chance to go see it.

It got very heated super fast. As a disclaimer, this is not a Royal Caribbean show, but one brought by Atlantis.

I liked the show a lot, but I think it could be shorter to be honest haha.

The Sunday on the elevators was about to be changed to Monday, as the Debarkation Day arrived.

But not without getting a one last time party at the Studio B. Multiple after parties continued through the night, but I was done early. I needed to pack and set the alarm, and be ready for the next day.

Day 08: Debarkation
The next morning Windjammer was flooded with suitcases, and I got to use my last drink tickets to get a coffee at the Cafe Promenade. Atlantis gave everyone a sort of gym bag that a lot of people were using. I had to fit it inside of my carry on suitcase since I did not bring any checked baggage with me.

We were back in Miami very early, and surprisingly, they did not let us out until later. There was something happening at that port, that it took some time to fix and let people out. Thankfully, my flight was not until later in the day….

…but while I was looking to the Miami Skyline, I was switching my day entirely, cancelling tonight’s flight from the Miami Airport as you will see in this post.

For now, and until they let us out, I was checking the cruise one last time. The Central Park was amazing, and I hope that my next cruise with Royal Caribbean has one of these.

We were finally green lit to do the Debarkation, and it went chaotic as expected, since everyone had to rush out at the same time.

Immigration was quick, but the wait for an Uber/Lyft took forever. It was very odd seeing all this people wearing so many clothes after being almost naked for the 7 days lol.

I will share my opinions of this cruise at the end of this post, so keep reading :).
A quick trip to Universal Orlando
And yes, I had switch my return flight from Miami, to now flying out from Orlando. I needed to figure something out with the upcoming Epic Universe tickets being released during these days, and I had to do all that in person. For now, I Ubered to the Brightline station in Miami and off to Orlando I was going.

4 hours later I was at Universal Orlando Resort. An unexpected visit to this park, to be able to be one of the first ones to visit Epic Universe.

After spending around 40 minutes trying to figure out how I was going to do the visit to Epic Universe, I ended up buying the Power Annual Pass, and did not cancel the 3-day park ticket with Epic Universe entrance yet. Eventually, I would cancel that, and get the Annual Passholder tickets when they became available. After this, I went into Universal Studios Florida for the Mardi Gras 30 Celebration.

Finally, I was able to enter the Wicked store in the Hollywood section of the park. My favorite movie from 2024.

They had props that are copies from the ones used in the movie.

I also was able to check the Colombia booth at the Mardi Gras festival.

I got the empanadas, with the chimichurri sauce. These are the smallest empanadas I have ever had, but at least there were 3, and they were amazing. Good job Universal.

The park would close earlier today, since it was the Winter times, and now, I rushed to Islands of Adventure to check my favorite rides in Orlando.

Back to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, and now I could not believe I was an Annual Passholder again.

Went in line for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, perhaps my favorite ride in Orlando, beating Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind in Epcot.

After I was done with this amazing roller coaster, I got myself a butterbeer, because why not. It was February and cold in New York, but it was very warm in Florida.

Right before they closed the park, I rushed to go into Velocicoaster, my second favorite roller coaster, and the perfect way to finish this entire trip, with these thrills.

Decided to stay the night in Orlando, in perhaps the worst hotel ever lol. It was a last minute booking and I regret it every minute. But I survived, and made it to MCO early the next morning, to be ready to go to New York City. The Disney store at the MCO airport was very cute.

And I was back in New York. A lot happened in the last 11 days: Fort Lauderdale, Miami, the Atlantis cruise, all the parties keeping me up all night, the ports like St. Marteen and St. Thomas, the new countries like Haiti and Anguilla, and the escapade to Universal to get my Annual Pass. I was going to need a vacation from the vacation, but I was glad it was all over, and I was going to be able to rest now.

My conclusion over the Atlantis Cruise
After reflecting on my time aboard the Allure of the Seas for the Atlantis Cruise, I can say it was truly a memorable experience. From the fun parties and excellent entertainment to the beautiful destinations and delicious food, this cruise had it all. Here’s a breakdown of my thoughts on different aspects of the trip.
Parties and Entertainment
The parties were undoubtedly one of the highlights of this cruise. The Atlantis parties had something for everyone, whether it was the intense late-night White Legends party or the fun, nostalgic Revival! Classic Disco T-Dance that brought everyone back to the 70s. The T-Dance was full of energy, and I loved seeing everyone dressed up in their groovy outfits. Monet X Change and Jackie Cox from RuPaul’s Drag Race made the party even more fun, adding their own flair to the dance floor.
There were also several shows to enjoy, like Airotica, which definitely heated things up. It was bold and entertaining, though I thought it could’ve been a little shorter. Despite that, the overall entertainment was top-notch, with a variety of performances and events that kept the energy high and the fun going.
Destinations
The destinations were one of the biggest draws for me. I had the chance to visit St. Thomas and St. Marteen, both of which offered stunning beaches and clear blue waters. The stop at Labadee in Haiti was especially interesting—it felt like a private paradise, perfect for relaxing on the beach and enjoying the tropical scenery. The best part about these stops was the balance between exploring new places and having plenty of time to relax onboard.
Food
Food-wise, the cruise had plenty of options, though I found myself wishing for a bit more variety at times. The Windjammer buffet, for example, had great options, but I missed seafood, which was hard to find there. I did enjoy the meals at places like Park Cafe, where I had a chicken salad, and the Main Dining Room, where I had some delicious shrimp and salmon. The portions were big, and while I initially planned to skip the desserts, I couldn’t resist at the end. The ice cream and brownies were a sweet way to finish off my meals.
Overall, while the food was generally good, a little more variety in seafood would have been appreciated.
The Ship
The Allure of the Seas was a massive ship, which sometimes made it tricky to navigate, but it offered so much to explore. I loved places like the Royal Promenade and the Central Park area, which had a peaceful vibe. The ship had everything from shopping to dining to entertainment, and I was constantly finding new areas to check out. The Rising Tide Bar was particularly cool—it’s a bar that moves between decks, which felt like something out of a futuristic movie.
Even with the ship being so large, I never felt overcrowded, especially since there were so many spaces to relax in or explore. The view from Deck 15 was amazing, and the quieter moments in places like Central Park were a perfect contrast to the lively party scenes.
Overall Experience
The Atlantis Cruise on the Allure of the Seas was a great vacation. The combination of exciting parties, entertaining shows, stunning destinations, and delicious food created an experience that felt unforgettable. Sure, there were moments where I could’ve asked for more variety in the food or longer breaks between parties (especially after all those late nights), but overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a week.
This cruise was an excellent mix of relaxation and fun. Whether you’re looking for thrilling parties, fabulous entertainment, or just a nice vacation with great food and beautiful views, the Atlantis Cruise really has something for everyone. It’s one of those trips that leaves you with so many memories, and I’m already looking forward to my next adventure with Atlantis.
