Intro
Get ready for a spooktacular ride! We’re diving into the ultimate Halloween vibes at Disneyland. Picture this: the entrance in Anaheim decked out for Halloween – pure magic! We’ll stroll by the Sleeping Beauty Castle, explore the intergalactic coolness of Galaxy’s Edge, and maybe even run into Kylo Ren. Don’t miss sipping on the Black Caf Cold Brew at Kat Saka’s Kettle and the thrills of Rise of the Resistance. Treat your taste buds with goodies from The Tropical Hideaway and Cafe Orleans. And, of course, we’re taking you through the haunted fun of Haunted Mansion Holiday. It’s Disneyland’s Halloween bash – the California dream! 🎃✨

Walking where Walt Disney walk and envisioned, it is always chilling. Love the tiny castle appearing out of nowhere.

Galaxy’s Edge
I have spent a lot of time in the East Coast counterpart, and even though similar, I always find the one in this park the most beautiful.

And of course a visit to Oga’s Cantina is unavoidable, the ambience is just the greatest.

While walking around, something that this park has, is the possibility of finding characters is just bigger, and Kylo Ren was just roaming around, seducing people into the dark side of the Force.

Somebody said coffee? I had to try again my favorite cold brew of the Disney parks, the Black Caf with the creamy texture and all the cocoa puffs. Yummy.

And after a long day of being down, I was finally able to ride Rise of the Resistance. Really love helping Rey and the others to defeat the First Order.

Eating and Eating
After exploring the Galaxy’s Edge, I decided to come back to Earth to taste some delicacies at The Tropical Hideway in Adventureland. The PB & J Mochi are just the best snacks.

But who I would be joking if I didn’t also get some Mickey shaped ice cream from The Golden Horseshoe. Who would have thought that in this location you could find nice treats. I know!!!

And one of the feedings I wanted to try the most in this park was the Monte Cristo sandwich. OMG. It was so delicious. I cannot recommend it more. Just look at it.

Wrapping up the day
What a perfect day to finish a Halloween day in Disneyland, than to ride the holiday version of the Haunted Mansion, with an overlay of The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is really cute.

The sunset was about to come and walking around getting the steps and riding the rides was the goal.

After a long day of rides, feedings and a lot of fun, I was finally saying bye to this park.

But before, I would take home one of the treats from Marceline’s Confectionary.

Fortunately, I was going to spend a great night in Oogie Boogie Bash across the plaza.
How to arrive to Disneyland
I was flying in to LAX from New York City, and from there I decided to take the FlyLAX bus to Union Station in Los Angeles Downtown, and from there I would take a train down to the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center. From here I would just Uber to the hotel and the parks. Is this the fastest way? No. Is it the most economical? Probably yes, although a bit tedious.

Since this one was a Budget Escapade, I decided to stay in one of the cheapest neighboring hotels, and boy, it was cheap, lol.

Other LA tasks
When I come to Los Angeles, I treat myself with a In-N-Out Burger, and oh boy, they really do a competition with the Shake Shack we have in NYC.

But for real, my other escapade is the Universal Studios Hollywood, which you can read now about my experience this Halloween Season 2023.

Time to end another day in Los Angeles and flying back the next morning back to NYC.
