Epic Park-Hopping: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios during Halloween!
Getting to Magic Kingdom
My plan for today was to get to 3 parks! But I was starting my adventure, by checking in Magic Kingdom, and then at 2:00 pm I would park hop to another one, but on that later on this post. After getting to the Disney’s Transportation & Ticket Center I got into the Monorail. I was surprised there were no lines so far.

There was Magic Kingdom, all decorated for the Fall and Halloween season. Could not wait to see it.

Wait Time and Disney Genie+
In order to get ready for today, since I was park hopping to 3 parks, I got the park hopper option for Disney Genie+ before 7:00 am. I also got the first Lighting Lane at 7:00 am for Space Mountain, and joined the Virtual Queue for Tron Lightcycle / Run. I explain more of how I manage to do all this in this previous post.
Despite of getting this fastpass service, the Wait Times were super low, basically a walk on in most of the rides. The park was empty. I was in shock.

Main Street USA had some people in it, but most of them would then just spread into the park. For some reason this park was going to be empty today. And then I realized that a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party was set to take place later in the day, deterring people to come.

Adventureland
I quickly walked to get into the first rope drop rides of the day, and noticed that Adventureland was literally empty. I took advantage of this and rode Pirates of the Caribbean.

The ride is pleasing and fun as always.

Later in the day I came back to this land to ride the Jungle Cruise, using one of the Lighting Lanes I had available.

Also later in the day, I got myself the famous burger spring rolls from the Spring Roll Cart at the main gate of Adventureland. This was a surprise, since I had not try them before and were so delicious. Definitely will include in my regulars list.

Frontierland
There was some progress on Tiana’s Food and Tiana’s Magical Adventure on the now extinct Splash Mountain. I am really excited to see this attraction opening.

But the next rope drop ride was Big Thunder Mountain. I made sure to start the day with a kicker to energize myself for the long day coming up.

Tomorrowland
Next up, my Virtual Queue for Tron Lightcycle / Run was calling me already and I had to quickly walk there. I took advantage of the little path through Fantasyland.

This time I did not get the Individual Lighting Lane Selection, meaning paying for the ride. I think Tron is fun but it is so short I do not think I will be paying for this ride in the foreseeable future.

After getting off Tron, I finally was able to go ride Space Mountain using the Lighting Lane I got earlier in the day. When Hollywood Studios opened I also got the Individual Lighting Lane for Star Wars: The Rise of The Resistance, which I was going to ride later in the day.

I missed Space Mountain so much, I had not ride it in the last couple of trips for any reason, but was happy to ride it this time.
Fantasyland
Time for some snacks, and this land has some of the best ones in Magic Kingdom. This park is not really famous for the food, but the snacks are always something, especially during Halloween.
I went to Gaston’s Tavern and got myself a Cinnamon Roll and requested extra frosting. This is so delicious, but I had to save most of it for later because I was about to go on a foodie spree and needed some space in my stomach.

My first special drink of the day was going to be the Queen of Hearts Slushy over at the Cheshire Cafe. It is just so fresh, and beautiful, but at the same time very filling. Make sure to have some water while drinking this treat. It is also only available during Halloween Season.

Finally, the last Halloween related drink was the Cold Witches’ Brew Coffee Cheshire Cafe, which I desperately needed at the middle of the day for a pick me up. It was very sweet but the candy in it gave it a lot of texture. The coffee was very black and exquisite.

Liberty Square
Haunted Mansion has always had trouble in the last times I had been to Magic Kingdom, and this time was no exception. I was sad I could not ride during Halloween Season, but hey, I got a Experience Redemption Pass I could use in another attraction since my Lighting Lane was cancelled.

To make me feel better I got one of the Halloween exclusive treats not too far from Haunted Mansion, in the Liberty Square Market. This time it was the Black Velvet Whoppie Pie. I also had to save it for later, but I just want to tell you, be ready to get your mouth all black.

Leaving Magic Kingdom
It was about time to start the exit of this park, and I had 2 more parks to go. Will I make it???

Even around 2:00 PM, I do not think this park got super busy, I was surprised, but hey, it was one of those days in September where the parks are supposedly empty.

Finally at EPCOT
My second park was EPCOT, and got here via the monorail. The Food and Wine Festival continued and I had to try to best of it.

But first, my Individual Lighting Lane Selection from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was calling me.

The ride took some time, but it was fun as always. Definitely my favorite attraction from Walt Disney World.
Food and Wine Festival
I had already try some items from this festival, and wanted to give a chance to other booths, like The Fry Basket. Let’s see what is the deal.

The yucca fries were excellent, reminded me a lot of the ones I got in Colombia. But the pickle fries were kind of bad, very salty for my taste.

The next booth on my list was Flavors from Fire, not too far from where I was.

From there, I got the Corn Beef Fondue Chips, which I tasted and immediately devour on the spot. Definitely one of the bests of the fest in my opinion. The chips were not as tasty, but the cheese and the beef and the sauce were so yummy together.

On my way to the west side of the park, I stopped at another booth: Shimmering Sips, which in my opinion was very quiet in terms of favoritism in this festival. But the Guava Cake I got here was so good. It felt fresh in my mouth and definitely something you should get from this festival.

Time to Leave EPCOT
And just like that and with only one attraction (and a lot of treats), I was leaving EPCOT, to spend the rest of the day in Hollywood Studios. This time I was finally able to use the Skyliner!

Getting to Hollywood Studios
It’s always good to spend some time in this park, especially because it has my favorite land on Disney World: Galaxy’s Edge.

Sunset Boulevard
But first, I had to finally see the Live Adaption of Beauty and the Beast, which I had never seen. I had a Lighting Lane for this show, but at the entrance they did not really care about it.

The show was very cool, and reminded me of the time I went into the Dream Cruise, and had this exact show. So Broadway!
The next thing I did, also with a stacked Lighting Lane was The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Thrills after so many snacks? Sure, why not?

And to finish this land I of course did Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. This time it was more smooth than the last time I was here.

Toy Story Land
One of the Lighting Lanes I had gotten was Slinky Dog Dash, which is the best roller coaster in this park (sorry Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster).

Galaxy’s Edge
The day was coming to an end, and since I had an Individual Lighting Lane Selection for Rise of the Resistance, I decided to kinda end it here in Galaxy’s Edge. I went to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run first for some out of world adventures.

Finally time for Rise of the Resistance, and I was in shock when the wait times were only 30 minutes. My eyes could not believe it, maybe I did not need to buy the Lighting Lane after all, but well, these are non-refundable purchases.

Rey to the rescue, or is it us?

The ride was exciting as always. Those drops are always so thrilling and this time every single part of the ride was fully working, I was so pleased.
And I was also pleased that when I went to Kat Saka’s Kettle, they did have the chocolate puffs this time on the Cold Brew Black Caf. I loved this drink so much and was sad that they added rice crispies on it.

Last ride of the day, and I jumped in Star Tours, which I am always surprised how entertaining it is. A good option for a short line in between Lighting Lanes.

Leaving Hollywood Studios
One day I will do a 4 park hopping challenge, but for now I would just leave it to these 3 parks, mny favorite ones.
On the way out, I went into Starbucks and got myself a Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie, which I actually ate days later back in NYC lol. It is so good, and the price is not that bad.
I was finishing the day having done 15 rides/attractions (if we include Monorail and Skyliner), and having bought (although not fully eaten yet) a total of 11 treats, WOW! I really had to schedule all these treats for the next few days.

A long day comes to an end, and as I leave I still have some adventures in Orlando, that you can see here.
