Disney Magic: Halloween on the High Seas – Day 4&5: Characters, Shows and Disembarkation!
Intro
The final stretch of my Halloween on the High Seas adventure aboard the Disney Magic was nothing short of magical! From early morning character meet-and-greets to behind-the-scenes ship tours, thrilling water slides, and even an Encanto celebration, Day 4 was packed with nonstop fun. And as the cruise came to an end, Day 5 brought a bittersweet farewell as we disembarked in Fort Lauderdale. But before stepping off the ship, there was still time for one last sunrise coffee, a delicious breakfast, and a few final Disney moments. Let’s dive into the last two days of this unforgettable cruise!
4-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale: Day 4 – A morning of characters
Ever wake up and immediately go meet a super hero? Well, that’s kinda what happened on my 4th day on the Disney Magic, Halloween on the High Seas. When I got ready, went to Preludes to meet Spider-Man very early in the morning. Definitely this Day at Sea was going to be full of activities.

Next up, while my mom was getting ready, I went to see the princesses on the Lobby Atrium. Ariel, Cinderella…

… Tiana and Belle were all meeting and greeting guests on this last full day.

Daisy was also on the way to meet more guests on her sailing attire.

The list of activities for the day was huge, and one thing I wanted to check out was the Oceaneer Club, which today had a slot for Open House, meaning anyone could come and take a look at it. There are different sections, for example this one is from Toy Story.

And this one I believe it is Tinkerbelle.

I was rushing from place to place, and got a chance to join the Art of the Theme Show tour. Basically the host was telling us everything related to the art of the ship, the first one on the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

The tour was very informative, but now it was time to get coffee from Cove Cafe and breakfast from Cabanas. Loved the churro Mickey Waffles that you can only get on the last day of the cruise.

4-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale: Day 4 – Edge, Vibe, Cooking and More
Time to explore more of the ship, and this time it was another Open House at the Edge, the ultimate tween club for kids aged 11-14.

It looked pretty cool inside.

I kept being busy on this last day, and it was a Day at Sea, so I might as well get to explore the most I could. So, I went to the D Lounge for Anyone can cook: Chocolate Spider Cake. I thought it was going to be a do it yourself kinda thing, but no, they just gave the cake already finished lol.

It was cute, but was expecting adding the legs and other part of the spider. The Encanto celebration was going to be later.

Time for more Marvel Super Heroes meet and greet and Thor was the star of today.

The final Open House was for Vibe, the teen-exclusive space aboard the Disney Magic.

Not gonna lie. The place looks nice and chill. Like if I were that age, I would spend most of the time here.

More meet and greets included Captain America Steve Rogers.

Finally it was time to relax a bit, so we went to change into our bathing suits, and got to go on the hot tub. Then I adventured a bit more, and went into the AquaDunk and the Twist n’ Spout water rides. Omg, it was my first water dunk ever. I never even tried the one in Volcano Bay, but this was kinda scary, and the water was literally everywhere, so you do not really see what’s going on, until you reach the bottom.

After all that exploring and water rides, it was time to get some lunch in Cabanas, the last one of this cruise. Got some seafood of course.

4-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale: Day 4 – An Encanto Celebration & Animator’s Palate
The evening was almost here on our last day, and of course I had to go to the Encanto Celebration on the D Lounge. Besides trivia and a sing-along of the favorite songs of this movie, they also had Mirabel and Bruno meeting and greeting.

It was really cool seeing this on the cruise, since I am from Colombia, and love to see this kind of representation.

After that, we went to rest on the stateroom, and wanted to try the FREE included room service. Another difference with the Royal Caribbean cruises where they charge you for this. Regardless, I recommend to give a tip to whoever brings your included food. You can also order Mickey Premium Bars, which of course we got, with a side of chicken and fries. We did not eat much since dinner was almost here, but the food was ok. It serves its purpose in case you do not want to go out an explore.

Time for the last Rotational Dining restaurant of this cruise: Animator’s Palate.

For the appetizer, I got the Smoked Salmon Tartare. It was good, I like everything seafood, so I enjoyed it a lot.

While we were having a nice chat with our fellow guests in the table, Magician Mickey came out and started saying hi to everyone. Unfortunately, it was so fast and did not go to all the tables like in other restaurants.

For dessert, I got the Cookie and Cream Sundae. I did not get a main dish since I was still full from all the things I had eaten today. But dessert was great.

4-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale: Day 4 – ‘Til we meet again & late night adult shows
Back in our stateroom, the host had taken the unfinished service room food, which made my mom mad, but I was like OK it does not really matter lol. I guess he assumed we were done.

But we had not much time before the Til we meet again show on the Atrium Lobby where many characters were going to meet and greet in a farewell to all guests on this last night.

After presenting all the characters, they all took different spots on these few levels on the Atrium, and got like 15 min of pictures with the guests. At that point it didn’t really matter who you got, as long as you could get any character in such a short time. We picked Donald since he was the closest.

Then they were all called back into the Atrium and said their goodbyes to the guests. It was very emotional I suppose for many people, since it was the last night, and for many it would be the last Disney cruise in a while.

It was already late, and after a quick packing of the suitcases, we went to see this late night adult show in Fathoms: Match your mate. It was definitely +18 haha. A lot of adult topics, but it was very funny.

While seeing the show, we got a couple of drinks from the Fathoms menu. I got the Black Pearl and it was strong haha. I went to bed and fell asleep immediately, from the very busy day and this drink.

4-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale: Day 5 – Debarkation
Woke up very early, since we had to be out of the ship by 9 AM. Went to the Cove adults area for coffee like every morning, and the sunrise was amazing. We were already in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

From afar, we could see The Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.

It was difficult but we had to say goodbye to this ship. I would not be in a Disney Cruise in more than a year, per my plans. The next one would be out of Singapore, in the Disney Adventure in 2026!

Breakfast can be taken on the same restaurant from last night, or in Cabanas. I picked Cabanas since it is a faster service, and we did not want to be rushed on the restaurant.

The actual process of debarkation was fast. We past the immigration and then took an Uber all the way down to Miami, where we would spend the remaining hours of the day exploring the city.
Welcome to Miami!
My mom would be leaving later today, but I got a hotel for me given that my trip would continue. The room at Best Western Plus Miami Intl Airport Hotel & Suites Coral Gables was great for just one night.

Time for a quick exploration of the Brickell City Centre in Miami, and we really walked and shop on this mall.

Before heading to the airport to drop off my mom for her flight, we got lunch at Latin Cafe 2000 kinda close to Brickell, and it was good. We missed this kind of Hispanic food.

But the Halloween blogs continue with more in Orlando, do not miss them!
