Rope Dropping
For the last few days I was having a Christmas blast in Orlando. From visiting the Walt Disney World parks to exploring their resorts, now it was time to go to the park where I have my Annual Pass: Universal.
I was staying in Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites, so I got an Early Park Admission, 1 hour before all regular guests, usually to Islands of Adventure.

Which of course would make this line really crazy, even for this early in the morning.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade
The crowds were mostly coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, specifically to Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.

The line was out all the way into The Lost Continent. After doing that initial line with everyone else, I put my stuff in the lockers, and went into the Single Rider line.
Single Rider Lines are very useful and can be found in these attractions in Islands of Adventure:
- Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
- Jurassic World VelociCoaster
- Jurassic Park River Adventure
- Skull Island: Reign of Kong
- Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls
- The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
- Dr. Doom’s Fearfall
- The Incredible Hulk Coaster

I literally walked on the first time, and the second time I had to wait a bit in the Single Rider line. Definitely would recommend it doing it if you are not afraid of splitting your group.
Time to explore more of this land, and of course I had to get a butterbeer. The Holiday decorations were very prominent in this year round Wintery Scenery.

One of my favorite drinks when it is cold outside, is the Hot Butterbeer from Hog’s Head Pub. It tastes so different from the frozen or regular options. It’s starting to grow a lot on me to the point to prefer it.

Jurassic Park
And after a successful Rope Drop on Hagrid’s, I definitely had to go to Jurassic Park, to my second favorite attraction of this resort: Velocicoaster.

Single Rider was close but the regular line was going very fast. Definitely a must do in Orlando.

Marvel Super-Hero Island
Continuing my walk around the park, my third ride of the day was going to be Spider-Man. Also has a Single Rider, and it is a nice escape into the AC for a bit.

GrinchMas Who-liday Spectacular at Seuss Landing
Following with the purpose of this trip, the seeing all the Holiday offerings, I had to go see GrinchMas Who-liday Spectacular at Seuss Landing. There was a show I just missed because I was at Spider-Man, but got to go to the next one.

The entrance was in this park by Seuss Landing, but the actual show was far away. It reminded me of Halloween Horror Nights, with the long walks into the backstage part of the park. The venue was right next to Rip Ride Rock It in Universal Studios.

After passing by a lot of Christmas decor, I finally made it to the venue and was shown my seat by the staff. No major option to choose your own seat, even though the venue had a lot of space (it was huge).

But the show started and it was very cute. It felt rushed at the end but the Christmas spirit was there. Definitely this is one of my favorite movies, and would probably be back to see this show for sure.

All Hollows Eve Holiday Boutique
After the long walk back into the park, and on the way to the Hogwarts Express, I ran into the All Hollows Eve Holiday Boutique, which again, reminded me of HHN.

This is like Christmas but make it scary lol.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley
When I finished exploring the store I went into the Hogwarts Express to jump travel into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley.

And there it was, the dragon on top of the Gringotts Bank, one of the most themed and immersive lands of the parks in the world. And I have been to many, thank you very much.

There are Single Rider lines in this park as well. These are the ones that are usually open:
- Men in Black Alien Attack
- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
- Transformers: The Ride
- Revenge of the Mummy
- Fast and Furious
- Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts

Went into the Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, which I gotta be honest I used to think it was amazing, and I still would ride it in every trip to these parks, but now I just think that the roller coaster part is just too short.

On the way out and on the other part of Diagon Alley, I saw some snope falling down, after Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees were singing. And another part of this land, and that is very overlooked is the Knockturn Alley. Very cool to take night pictures and just relax in the AC.

New York
It is crazy that a whole land in this park is called New York, like I just got here from there. But anyways, reminds me of the first time I came to this park in 2013, and took a picture on the fake subway, sent it to my family group chat, and people thought I was for real in NYC lol.
Regardless, I had to go on one of my favorite rides of this park: Revenge of the Mummy. This is a real inside Roller Coaster with a lot of visual effects, fire and fun in general.

After retrieving my stuff from the lockers, I realized it had been a long time without a food break, so I went to the You Do Yule stands in this section of the park.

I got the Turkey Dinner Sandwich for $12.99. It was kind of good, but I am just not a fan of dry bread.

Hollywood
In the Hollywood section of the park, you could find the Universal Tribute Store and Post. I like how New York and Hollywood get the Tribute Stores that jump from land to land depending of the festivity.

The store was cute and full of Christmas decor.

Of course there were a lot of Universal nods.

But I mostly came here for the treats.

Got myself a Who Hash Trifle Cake, which I had to eat right away. It looked so good.

And good it was. I liked it a lot. There were multiple flavors and it was soft and decadent.
Leaving Universal
It was time to say goodbye to Universal and to this trip in general. I had a great Christmas time in Orlando and I will continue uploading my adventures in all these parks.

I would definitely come back during Christmas in Universal, and will not miss the Holiday Parade (too late for my taste).

Back to my hotel, I wanted to show a standard room in the Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites.

And the beautiful view of Volcano Bay I had earlier this day.

To finish my day, I explored The Florida, just to get some stuff before heading back to New York.
