Bariloche Bliss: An Springtime Sojourn in Argentina’s Gem
Intro
🌄 Dive into the Charms of San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina 🏞️
Embarking on a journey through San Carlos de Bariloche, I discovered the enchanting views of Nahuel Huapi Lake and the city’s springtime allure. The captivating architecture of the downtown and delectable food around added flavors to my exploration. Soaring to new heights at the surrounding hills, I marveled at panoramic vistas while enjoying local delights at the summits. Historical landmarks like Parroquia de San Eduardo and the iconic Llao Llao Hotel painted a rich narrative. Wrapping up with a lunch feast at El Boliche de Alberto Pastas and a farewell to Bariloche’s stunning landscapes. Until next time! ✈️🌍 #BarilocheAdventure #TravelVibes
Arriving to Bariloche
I was coming from the unbelievable views of Torres del Paine in Chile, and El Calafate in Argentina, and I squeezed this town into my itinerary just because some recommended it.

But as soon as I got to my hotel, and saw through the window, I realized I should have planned more days for this place. It looks just like paradise.

Got out and started walking around the little town. It was completely different to what I have seen in Ushuaia, and even Buenos Aires. Also, it was Springtime here in the South hemisphere, so the views were even more beautiful.

Exploring the Center
The town reminded me a lot of my trips through Europe but especially Switzerland. It was just amazing.

The view of the snow capped mountains, and the Lake Nahuel Huapi, was just breathtaking.

Locals and tourists were just enjoying the nice weather.

The downtown was just amazing with all the architecture and views of the nature surrounding this beautiful village.

I ended my day getting some lasagna, and walking around the main avenue doing some shopping. Local cuisine is a derivative of Italian cuisine, from which many locals are descendants from.

Cerro Campanario
The next day, I took an Uber to Cerro Campanario, to climb it using the chairlifts that looked like so much fun, and it indeed was!

Going up is difficult to see the views, but once up there you are free to go all around and check all the views of the beautiful lakes, mountains and nature in general.

Again, I felt like I was back in Switzerland. Unforgivable panoramics.

Cerro Campanario offered a cafe at the very top, but I did not decide to stay. I used the bathroom tho.

Time to go down, and the 15 min ride down felt longer with all the wind lol.

Circuito Chico
My next best idea of this whole Patagonia trip was to get an Uber and add many stops to take me around what locals call Circuito Chico (Short Circuit). In this circuit, you go around a 1.5 hrs roundtrip by lookouts and nice areas to explore.

One of the hot spots is the Llao Llao hotel, that I would recommend to stay in if you prefer to be surrounded by nature and doing hiking.

In some areas the forest is even heavy, a lot of trees on this road.

But Circuito Chico provides some of the best views of this entire area.

Bye Bariloche
And that’s how I came back to Bariloche, and got myself a nice dinner, just in time to go to my next destination.

And once again picked some pastas, just as a goodbye to this beautiful region in Argentina. I would have to come back one day.

Bye bye beautiful Bariloche.
